WELBRO’s Response to the Outbreak

The outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting everyone around the globe. As one of Central Florida’s leading builders, safety is our highest priority and that is especially true as we all confront this pandemic together.

We have been working diligently to ensure that our team members are informed and prepared to take care of themselves and their families during this stressful time.

To date, WELBRO has not experienced a single case of the virus among any of our employees or project sites.

We are continuously monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on the COVID-19 virus and are following guidance from local authorities. As we face this challenge, we are moving forward with the following actions:
  • Communicate and follow CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of illness
  • Utilize a consistent protocol for assessing workers’ health and refer to the CDC risk assessment chart as a precautionary guide
  • Educate employees on Telemedicine screening
  • Communicate with clients and inform them of the actions being taken to maintain safe operations on their behalf
  • Communicate detailed guidelines to subcontractors & suppliers to reinforce the importance of housekeeping and other wellness procedures on a project-specific level
  • Monitor and understand the impacts of supply chain challenges
  • Convene leadership continually throughout the day to share information and update resources for employees to help them stay informed, remain calm, and focused on their well-being
To our clients, please let us know in advance when you plan to visit your project in order for you to understand any specific protocols that are in place.

To our subcontractor partners, please know that each project site may have specific changes and additional requirements to the safety plans posted. Please advise your teams accordingly.

Our core values are guiding our actions during this pandemic and helping us stay focused on the health and safety of everyone. We hope this information is helpful as you take similar steps across your organizations and within your communities.
