In the heart of the Walt Disney World attraction area, this new 370,000 square foot flagship hotel at the Bonnet Creek Resorts houses a 13,000 square foot convention center, 5,000 square foot spa, 400 guest rooms, & nearly 700 car parking garage. Included with this resort hotel is a large pool amenities area, with a zero entry pool, bar & grill facilities and locker room. The project, which included WELBRO’s fourth 13-story, post-tensioned concrete building at the Bonnet Creek Resort complex, began in 2008 during the economic crash, went through a replanning stage causing the resort to be built in three phases. Redesigns of the original concepts continued throughout the construction process, challenging WELBRO Building Corporation to be ready to “turn on a dime.”
