WELBRO Building Corporation provided construction management services for the 66,000 s.f. Phase 2 expansion that houses a variety of program activities. The primary use of the facility is for student recreation and wellness and includes spaces for cardio, fitness, in-door racquetball courts, multi-purpose rooms, an outdoor adventure center area, MAC gymnasium, offices, wet classrooms, new locker and restrooms, a new 25 yard by 25-meter pool and associated pump room. The expansion was targeted for LEED© Silver Certification but reached LEED© Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council at no additional cost to our client.
