Senior Construction Project Scheduler

WELBRO Building Corporation has a career opportunity for a Construction Project Scheduler with at least twelve (12) years of commercial building construction experience, preferably as a Superintendent . The position, located in our Corporate Office in Maitland, FL, will be responsible for working with Preconstruction and Operations in preparing, maintaining, and updating schedules on multiple projects, informing team of schedule issues, and making recommendations for corrective action. This includes providing critical path analysis, collecting project related information, assessing progress, monitoring construction activities, preparing schedule updates, and providing progress updates.

Key Duties

  • Contribute to the development of preliminary or bid schedules for Preconstruction which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time.
  • Prior to project start, work at the direction of project team and stakeholders to revise preliminary schedule to create the Project Master Schedule.
  • Monitor project schedule progress and identify conflicts and developing issues; analyze critical path and constraints, and report variances to project team
  • Provide recommendations for schedule improvement based on actual and potential impact of design changes and work performance.
  • Interface with Operations and subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of issues.
  • Work with site management in identifying potential problems affecting 2-week look ahead schedules and in developing workaround plans.
  • Gather and input data and changes to schedule as needed.
  • Incorporate resource and cost loading data into schedules as required.
  • Provide additional scheduling support as needed on recovery schedules, time impact analysis, what-if impacts, schedule modifications, and the presentation of project schedules.



  • Minimum of twelve (12) years related work experience in commercial construction
  • Eight (8) years of experience as a Superintendent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a construction, engineering, or business-related field is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency level of Primavera P6 or similar program
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Extensive knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, planning, construction sequencing, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required
  • Highly proficient in blueprint reading and have working knowledge of building materials, processes, and equipment involved in site, structural, MEP, finishes, and building envelope areas.
  • Sound understanding of the interrelationships of schedule activities and logic ties; ability to structure a schedule by areas, disciplines, and responsibility codes, ability to compare base line schedule to current schedule
  • Multi-story commercial construction experience preferred
