WELBRO Building Corporation provided construction management services for the 62,000 s.f. Phase 2 expansion which will house a variety of program activities. The primary use of the facility will be for student recreation and wellness and will include spaces for cardio, fitness, in-door racquet ball courts, multi-purpose rooms, outdoor adventure center area, MAC gymnasium, offices, wet classrooms, new locker and rest rooms, a new 25 yard by 25 meter pool and associated pump room. The expansion will significantly assist in the University’s mission of providing high quality recreational facilities and programs to a growing and health conscious population. The goal for this project is also to achieve LEED® Silver Certification by the US Green Building Council.
