Orlando FL: WELBRO Building Corporation, a privately held General Constructor in Central Florida for the past 27 years was honored at the Orlando Business Journal’s Golden 100 recognition luncheon on Friday, September 15, 2006.
To qualify for the Golden 100 List, a company must be privately held, headquartered in Orange, Seminole, Osceola or Lake Counties; and must not be a subsidiary of a company based outside of Central Florida.
WELBRO reported $258.1 million in revenues for 2005 making it the largest privately held commercial contractor in Central Florida, coming in at #8 on the top 100 list, up from #13 in 2005.
Of the industries represented on the list, 42 were classified as construction-related businesses, making that category the largest industry represented on the 2006 list, with more than one billion dollars in revenues. WELBRO was also recognized as the #1 company in this category.
