December 2007, Orlando FL: Southeast Construction Magazine presented its seventh annual “Best Of” awards in honor of the “best” construction and design projects completed between September 1, 2006, and September 1, 2007 on Tuesday, November 27th at an Awards Luncheon held at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

WELBRO Building Corporation was awarded the “Best of” 2007 Award in the Hospitality category for the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort & Convention Center project which was completed on September 7, 2006.

Project entries were rated on the following criteria:

• Project management
• Construction or design innovation

• Safety (construction entries)
• Design unity (design entries)

64 construction or design entities were submitted representing a total of 150 project entries. Awards were presented in the following categories: Private Building; Public Building; Hospitality; High-Rise Residential; Residential; Health Care; Cultural; K-12 Schools; Universities; College Housing; Senior Living; Sports; Mixed-Use; Office Buildings; Industrial; Leisure; Health and Fitness; Retail; Civil Infrastructure; Transportation; Transportation Building; Specialty Construction; Concrete; Engineering-Building; Engineering-Transportation; and Design.
