Details: WELBRO Building Corporation is soliciting proposals from qualified subcontractors and vendors for the construction of the Sheraton Orlando renovation (currently the Sheraton Safari property) located at 12205 South Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32836.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
- Complete interior renovation of approx. 490 guest units, guest corridors, public areas and select back of house areas.
- Building exterior renovation.
- Complete courtyard renovation including underground utilities, hardscape, landscaping, pools and new pool bar building.
- Site renovation including parking lot repair/asphalt overlay and landscaping.
- Approx. 14,000 square foot meeting room building expansion with associated site development, utilities and parking expansion (separate bid package is forthcoming).
The project is expected to begin in August, 2011. A Bidders Meeting will be conducted on Thursday, June 30 at 3 PM. The meeting will begin at the hotel property in the Safari Ballroom Salons B & C. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Proposal Form and Financial Statements will be required for all Bids exceeding $100,000.
